Travel Diaries: Sydney, Australia
One my favorite trips ever was to Australia! We started in Melbourne for five days, then flew to Sydney from there, and I have to say … I am counting down the days until we can go back! I LOVED Sydney! The people were incredibly nice, the shopping was incredible, and everywhere we went was really clean! I just overall cannot say enough good things. We were there for close to two weeks and it still was not long enough! We fell in love!
Two years have passed and I’m writing about it today because the trip makes me so happy to think about and also, during this dreary day in January in the midst of travel restrictions from Covid, we are craving an international trip more than ever! With that said, people thought we were crazy to have Sarah at her age on a flight to Australia, but thank goodness we did!

We met Matthew for dinner at King Street Wharf in Darling Harbour after he worked all day and after our exploring on the Big Bus and throughout Sydney.

We would not trade this trip for anything! You can never overspend on travel because it can never be taken away from you, and this trip brings back the best of memories for all four of us! We love talking about Australia! I won’t bore you talking about every detail, but happy to answer any questions on traveling with kids to Australia …of course, not we all can plan travel like this again! We went during November and the weather was perfect. We were able to swim in Sydney, but some days were chilly. We did not pack a lot, but comfy shoes and a big tote were two must have items, especially since I toured with the girls most days by myself while Matthew worked in both Melbourne and Sydney. If I were planning to take a trip back to Australia, this is what my top packing list would look like….enjoy! XOXO, Tracy
