The Girl's Wish List

I know I posted a wish list yesterday because it sure is enjoyable to scout out and find everything you   would love to see under the tree; however, my real Christmas wish at this point is to instill in our girls the true magic of Christmas.  Kind of deep as I am staring at a collage of toys that happen to be on their lists to Santa, I know!  I would be lying if I said the Santa lists aren't all part of the excitement to a child, but as a child I loved all of our family traditions more than anything!  I can already tell for Caroline, she just loves everything about the season and this makes me so proud!  We're still working on Sarah, but she is still so young!  In the midst of all of the buying and all of the lists made for Santa, how do you make sure the Spirit of Christmas is not lost?  I would love for you to comment.  For us, it is placing importance on the traditions we do each year as a family.  From decorating the house together, to the Christmas Eve candlelight service at our church, I can honestly say we place the most importance on the magic of the traditions we share as a family.  I feel so lucky to have learned this from my parents.  So with this said, of course Santa has made arrangements for some of these toys to hopefully be delivered to the girls, but more importantly, I can genuinely say the girls seem to be taking in magic of the season, which for me, is the best gift of all!
