Christmas in New York

We had an amazing 48 hours in New York with great friends to kick off the Christmas season! It was such a quick trip, it may have even been less than 48 hours, but we were missing NYC and it was as magical as ever! Thank goodness we went when we did because everything seemed to start having more rigid restrictions around the time we left, but we were lucky to get the time in we did!

A few quick notes from our quick trip….

We try to get up to New York a few times a year, though Covid has made that impossible lately, I only say that to note this trip was all about the kids and not really to take in museums, shows, or dressy dinners. We stuffed in as much shopping, Christmas decor sightings, and laughing with our dear friends as possible!

Restaurants this trip: L’ Avenue (the BEST view of Rockefeller tree and ice skating) & Serafina (a long time favorite of ours)

Shopping Favorites this trip: American Girl, FAO Swartz, Bergdorf, Bloomingdale’s, Saks, Zimmermann, Loveshackfancy, Zara, Chanel, Glossier & Belgium Shoes

Hotel: The Plaza (the love of Home Alone 2 had us wanting to stay at The Plaza during Christmas)

Car Service: Carmel
